RWOP EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE APPLICATION FOR CANDIDATES
Terms of Office for these positions are: January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025

Please note:
The President position requires that you must have been an Active Member of RWOP for a minimum of 2 years and on the Executive Committee for at least 1 year. ***Please refer to our ByLaws for more information HERE and the Nominating Committee Guidelines and Rules for A Contested Election HERE.
All other Executive Committee positions require that you must have been a Active Member of RWOP for at least 1 year.
EC POSITIONS AND SUMMARY OF DUTIES (IN THE DIRECTORY/BYLAWS THERE IS A FULL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES):

EC POSITIONS AND SUMMARY OF DUTIES (IN THE DIRECTORY/BYLAWS THERE IS A FULL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES):
- President - Be the official representative of RWOP and shall represent RWOP at all times. Be responsible for and preside over the monthly business meetings, the EC and the BOD meetings. Appoint the BOD and Special Committees. Serve on the AzFRW Board of Directors Be qualified to be insured by the RWOP Directors and Officer’s liability insurance policies. Be a signatory on all RWOP financial accounts.
- First Vice President - Programs - Perform duties of the President in the event of her temporary absence in that office. Be Program Chair for each monthly membership luncheon meeting. Vet potential speakers including their bio and social media platforms. Obtain approval from the President prior to scheduling. Chair the ‘Main Event’ meetings, negotiate contracts, track budget expenses and assign responsibilities. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the President or EC.
- Second Vice President - Ways & Means - Be primarily responsible for fundraising events to meet the budgeted goals as approved by the EC. Chair the ‘Main Event’ VIP Gala and coordinate the gala activities with the ‘Main Event’ Committee. Oversee the Merchandise Chair to ensure the inventory tracking, ordering and merchandizing is accurate. Ensure all merchandise falls within the category of red, white and/or blue and/or patriotic items in order to be in compliance with IRS guidelines. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the President or EC.
- Third Vice President - Membership - Coordinate and lead an annual membership drive to start on October 1. Be responsible for collecting and recording new and renewed membership applications, tracking data through a database and report the current membership numbers. Verify the applicant is a registered Republican. Create and disseminate the annual RWOP Directory. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the President or EC.
- Fourth Vice President - Communications - Be responsible for the online communications that are approved by the President. Manage the website, Facebook, Constant Contact and other social media. Create the luncheon pre-meeting slides as well as assist with the President’s and speakers’ slides. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the President or EC.
- Fifth Vice President - Education - Submit education information to the Communications Chair for the website. Build a team to plan tours, provide classes to educate members and voters of events regarding local, county, state and national issues and how to become involved to support Republican principles. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the President or EC.
- Secretary -Maintain accurate minutes for each monthly membership business/lunch, EC and BOD meetings. Perform correspondence duties as may be relevant. Be custodian of all RWOP materials, Officer and Chair reports, and safely secure and maintain according to current record management practice. Prepare and distribute the meeting/luncheon agenda as set by the President. Perform other duties as directed by the President or EC.
- Treasurer -Be custodian of all funds of RWOP. Be a signer on all RWOP financial accounts. Collect all funds, prepare a receipt and deposit funds in a timely manner in an institution approved by the EC. Have records ready for annual financial view. Serve as Chair of the Budget Committee. Analyze the type of insurance that is needed and present to the EC. Act as agent of record for RWOP with Arizona statutory agencies as necessary. Perform other duties as directed by the President or EC.
