Charity of the Month:

PUSD & Chino Valley Education Foundation

BACKPACK COLLECTION

In April Caring for America hosted Judy Stencel, the Special Populations Coordinator for the Prescott Unified School District at the luncheon. She showed us how they care for their population of needy students with grace and care. We collected $395 in donations for the PUSD program.

In May the Chino Valley Educational Foundation Board President, Wayne Ballard, spoke about how they support the needs for their Hungry Kids Project, Weekend Meals for Students, Homeless Family Assistance and much more. Thanks to the generous giving of the RWOP members in May, we sent 3 truckloads of groceries needed to help the Hungry Kids Project in Chino Valley and Prescott along with cash donations and gift certificates of $925.

In June, we will be collecting backpacks and school supplies for both school districts.  Below is a list of the ITEMS NEEDED for PUSD & Chino Valley Education Foundation.
