PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

The Republican Women of Prescott’s (RWOP) hard work and dedication to the goals of the Republican party in 2024 helped make 2025 a pivotal year.  How, may you ask?

Republican Women of Prescott (RWOP) membership represents the largest federated republican women’s club in the country. Yavapai Republican voter turnout last November was an electric 96.4%; that’s what I call “Keeping Northern Arizona solid red”!

And moving forward, our mission is to stack our cities, county, state, and U.S. Legislatures with Republicans. NO quarter will be allotted to the liberal democrats. If you want to fight to keep your state of Arizona red, you’ve come to the right place.

Republican Women of Prescott (RWOP) is a powerhouse of results oriented, like minded conservatives. We pack our meetings purposefully with local, state and national luminaries, and your investment of love for our country deepens and broadens the scope of what we can do together.

Since 1942, RWOP has carried the torch of our constitutional values; we stand on the shoulders of our predecessors and will not let their work be in vain. This organization has a network of patriotic, skilled, and motivated members and volunteers. The simple, yet important goal of politically educating, motivating, and empowering the membership to become accurately and responsibly involved in the ever-changing political arena and, of course, doing so with wisdom and discernment while enjoying fellowship with old and new friends. And when we disagree, let’s vow to keep sight of the bigger picture of vetting, voting for, and supporting Republicans at all levels of government.

We see you, and welcome folks fleeing the liberal and oppressive states.
Many of us have been there- political refugees. Do you know someone who moved to Arizona recently?  Let’s be honest: leaving your home state because of oppressive politics meets that very definition.  RWOP membership is over 1,000 strong; yet the commonality and “small town” atmosphere of this group adds to the fun factor.

You may ask: How can I help?  Where do I start?  Or I’m busy but want to contribute somehow. We can play a part; let’s keep Yavapai a strong Republican RED County.

From Seligman to Sedona, from Congress to Cornville, Crown King to Kirkland, we need people like you to have eyes on governance and boots on the ground. In Arizona, the largest growing party is the Independents; let's invite them to the party of Lincoln, Reagan, and Trump. Our membership has great social skills—let’s find a way to seek out, engage, and welcome these folks as well.

Remember, our opposition despises conservative values, yet they remain well-funded, motivated, and highly organized. RWOP membership has and will continue to challenge the destructive and misaligned leadership and legislature of the left. Well-intentioned or not.

Let’s focus on engagement and rebuilding in 2025. We are all patriots and volunteers, and as the saying goes, “You get out what you put in.” When your candidate wins, your piece of legislature passes, it becomes YOUR legacy!

Our commonality as Americans, Arizonans, and Yavapai County Republicans is an overwhelming strength not to be taken lightly. Let’s work together, have fun together, and support this conservative cause that makes northern Arizona such a beautiful place to live.

Blessings,
Sue
